Renville park, Oranmore, Co Galway

A great place for a walk, Renville Park is only 20 minutes from Galway City.  There are paved walks suitable for buggies and bikes, a woodland walk for exploring nature and a lovely playground within the old walled garden, which is often much warmer that elsewhere because of its sheltered location!

The park is also right on the seashore so you can do some beachcombing while you're there or have a picnic at one of the picnic benches.  There is ample parking :-)

Getting there:

Drive to Oranmore village.  When in the village, follow signs (or ask directions!) for Maree, keeping the sea on your right as you go along.  The park is a few miles outside the village, there is a right hand turn.
