Location Facilities

People's Park Perry Square Limerick

The secure playground is within the  People's Park. It has ample space with a separate area for small children  to the older children. The park it self is lovely to wall around with bandstand, drinking fountain and a large green area. Looking forward to when the Limerick Art Gallery reopens with a coffee shop to pop into after the trip to the park. Parking is on the street and parking discs required. 

O'Brien's Park Clare St Children's playground, park shelter and a cast iron drinking fountain. On street parking and parking discs required
Castletroy Park - Opposite Castletroy College, Castletroy 1.2 km of pedestrian pathways, a fully equipped children's playground, skateboarding area, circular cycle route, and central performance and exhibition area with covering structure. park furniture, ornamental planting areas, a public car park and main entrance feature. Off street parking area.
Curragh Chase Forest Park kilcornan  Caravan and Camping park, picnic sites and BBQ area,toilets two children's playground, forest walks and gardens. Ample car parking but enterance to grounds  5E per car - no attendant so bring change

Castleconnell Playground

Set beside the river this is a fantastic new playground with seperate area for small and big children. Lovely walk beside the river and don-t forget to feed the ducks and swans!
Shelbourne Park - off the Ennis Road Play area within an open park with walking and cycling track, 2 green areas used for football and for kids to run around. Seating around the walk and picnic tables outstide the play area. New toilet installed and limited off street parking.
Asketon  Playground - Adjacent to local pool and Leisure Centre
Kilmallock Playground Large secure playarea within the town with ample parking facilities.
Abbeyfeale Town Park Pleasurable meandering walkways adjacent to the river, which also takes in the idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. Also included on the park is a playground to entertain the children.
Newcastle West  Beside the Desmond Demise this open playground is safe as not alot of traffic - but still keep your eyes peeled for the young ones.  Plenty of green area beside the park . Beside the Entrance to the Castle Demesne a 100 acres of parkland with numerous forms of flora and fauna
Murroe Playground Opened in 2011 - this playground is totally railed so very safe.
Glin Playground Beautifully scenic location this playground is situated beside the River Shannon surrounded by a small maintained park with seating and tables.
Ballingarry Playground Brand spanking new playground opened August 2011.  Its a fantastic playground in the local village park in ballingarry so its surrounded by trees and a nice park walk too .Cark parking available.
Moyross Playground Moyross Playground is undergone a facelift after winning the Brennan's Bread playground competiton. Large playarea with some fantastic wooden climbing structures. Wooden train, grocery shop role play area, seating areas and plenty of area to run around!
Foynes Playground Playground situated in the town near the Flying Boat Museum. Ample parking and green area beside the park. Seating inside and outside the park. Plenty of swings, climbing frames and a zip wire and a few novel spinning machines
Kilfinane Playground Kilfinane has a secure new playground down by the new playschool, parking facilities and a picnic bench
