The school summer holidays are here and we have plenty of ideas for you to help keep the kids amused! Survive the Summer with Mykidstime.ie as each week we'll give you a new idea for fun things for your kids to do, so bookmark this page and we'll keep adding the ideas to it!

Week 1 - 2nd July
This week you can download our free Summer Activity Checklist to have to hand and it will help with
- ideas for things to do,
- places to go,
- indoor/rainy day ideas,
- outdoor fun
- cooking
- crafts
- and more!
Week 2 - 9th July
Our free indoor treasure hunt sheet has
- a selection of things to do
- things to find
- fun activities to help pass the time!
All you have to do is provide each child with their printed treasure hunt and a small box to collect their items!

Week 3 - 16th July
The "Ever Useful" Scavenger Hunt!
- can be used with individuals or groups
- indoors/rainy day ideas
- educational
- things to find
- ideal for a party game
- fun and interesting regardless of age/gender
You will need a digital camera (or use camera function on you mobile phone) Print our list or make up your own !

Week 4 - 23rd July
Whether it's making dinner or baking cookies or a cake, the children will love to help out.
Week 6 - 6th August
This week we have some fun science activities that you can do in the house with simple materials.
How about making your own lava lamp or making invisible ink and writing secret letters to friends?
Or if you are a bit more adventurous try making Slime or creating your own stalagmites and stalactites!
Week 7 - 13th August
We're almost there! This week we have picked out some free things to do with kids.
What about assembling a Family Orchestra with some easy home made instruments?

Week 5 - 20th August
Looks like the rain is setting in again for the last full week of the holidays. So why not check out our Rainy Day Ideas section for activities and ideas.
It's also Heritage Week this week with a heap of free events around the country, many of them for families and children, from walking tours to visits to unusual buildings to learning about life in the past.
We have many of them listed in our Events Listings so stop by to check what's on in your county!

Great ideas to keep the kids happy :)
If in Wexford or Wexford bound -we still have some summer camps in last couple of weeks of Summer and D'lush cafe a welcome treat for both parent and kid. - Come along to Free activities on the Green beside us on Heritage Town Wall Day Sunday 26th August 11am-5pm. www.wexfordartscentre.ie
