Angus, thongs and perfect snogging by Louise Rennison

Georgia Nicholson is a 14-year-old teenage girl who’s life (in her opinion anyway) utterly sucks. Her parents are bonkers, her little sister may have peed somewhere in her room and, worst of all, the boy she loves hates her.

Read Georgia’s diary as she attempts to charm Robbie (the boy she likes), calm down her parents and tame her cat. A lot of pressure for a 14-year-old girl!

I really enjoyed this book because it was so funny!  The characters were all great and Georgia is an immature girl who couldn’t be boring if she tried.

A guaranteed giggle for anyone who wants one!

Rating: 7/10 the characters were great and it was a very funny book but it could be a little tedious at times.

Recommended age group: 12-16
